Prof. Hiroshi Motoda is a Scientific Advisor and Program Manager and He is also a Professor Emeritus at Osaka University and a Guest Professor for the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research at Osaka University. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of New South Wales. Prof. Hiroshi Motoda’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, machine learning in general, data mining, knowledge discovery and scientfic discovery, and knowledge acquisition from expert.
Together with Prof. Tu-Bao Ho and Prof. Zhi-Hua Zhou, Prof. Motoda organized the first special issue for IJSI (Vol.3, No.1) in 2009.
